TKO Combat Sports prospect Tilek Mashrapov is a formidable name in the Asian and European mixed martial arts circuit. The 8-1 fighter out of Kyrgyzstan has made waves overseas with an extensive resume between his fighting career and other combat sports competition.
In 2015, Mashrapov was crowned WMMAF World Champion in MMA and won the European Combat Jiu Jitsu Championship in Moldova. He followed that up by winning the Russian Open Cup of MMA and the Time to Fight Amateur MMA Championship. In 2016, Mashrapov won the Battle of the Championship Belts Grand Prix along with being a bronze medalist of the Commonwealth Cup International Tournament, in which he also won bronze for 2017.
The talented fighter has eight finishes in his eight MMA victories, including four by KO/TKO and four via Submission. Looking to take the next step in his fighting career, he signed with one of the nation's top up and coming sports agencies, TKO Combat Sports, and made the moved his trainign camp from Jackson-Wink in New Mexico to Hard Knocks 365 in Miami, Florida, a gym founded by the legendary Henri Hooft. Hard Knocks 365 features a who's who roster of standout talent such as former champions Luke Rockhold, Rashad Evans and other talented names including Matt Mitrione, Kamaru Usman, and many more.
TKO Combat Sports agreed to an extension with the talented prospect, signing him to a three year term and booking his first fight under the organization's management. On March 24th, in Loveland, Colorado, Mashrapov will fight for the Sparta Combat League 178 pound Championship vs another elite prospect, in 5-0 Anthony Adams. Both fighters have their sights set on a UFC opportunity and this fight could be the one that puts either man in the spotlight for exactly that with a decisive victory.
